Scott Steinhoff grew up on Long Island, N.Y., in the historic village of Stony Brook. He attended New York University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in English and Communications. Upon graduation, Mr. Steinhoff spent the next ten years working in radio and television, first as a sports radio commentator and later in broadcast operations for cable networks including American Movie Classics, Bravo, and The Learning Channel.

He enrolled in graduate school at UNLV, earning a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration.
