About Attorney Scott Steinhoff, Esq.

Scott Steinhoff grew up on Long Island, N.Y., in the historic village of Stony Brook. He attended New York University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in English and Communications. Upon graduation, Mr. Steinhoff spent the next ten years working in radio and television, first as a sports radio commentator and later in broadcast operations for cable networks including American Movie Classics, Bravo, and The Learning Channel.

Mr. Steinhoff then sought to continue his education as well as rejoin his family, who had moved to Las Vegas. He enrolled in graduate school at UNLV, earning a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration. As part of the graduate program he studied educational law, and developed an interest in attending law school. He was admitted into the Boyd School of Law as a member of its charter class when it first opened in the fall of 1998. Mr. Steinhoff then earned the distinction of being one of the first five students to graduate from Boyd in December, 2000.

During and after law school, Mr. Steinhoff gained invaluable experience as a law clerk in diverse practice areas. Upon admission to the Nevada Bar, he did appearance work for different attorneys, ultimately deciding that criminal law was his passion. Mr. Steinhoff has practiced criminal defense full time since 2009.
